Satisfying Snacks

Keeping the kids bellies full and content can be a full time job in itself sometimes. Some of our favorite snacks all involve Cream Cheese. If you want to try all of these, the best deal is to buy in bulk at Costco or other warehouse club.

Cheese Ball
16 oz cream cheese
packet of ranch dip mix
1/4 cup mayo
2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
Mix all ingredients except for 1 cup of cheddar in mixer. Separate into two balls and wrap in plastic wrap. Refrigerate for several hours.
When ready to serve roll balls in shredded cheddar and serve with your favorite cracker! YUM!!

Another Cheese and Cracker Treat
8 oz block of cream cheese
sweet chili sauce from Trader Joes
Just pour the chili sauce over cream cheese and serve with crackers, yummy and easy!

I got this one from here. Try it, it's yummy!

I love cream cheese with a bit of sour cream with a frozen package of spinach and some spices(cant remember) and heat it in the oven. Man oh man!

But our new snack has become fresh cut veggies(Thee old stand by, but I love raw veggies, I can't help myself) and usually a batch of hummus.

It has been hard to leave all those lovely options aside, but we are definitely making the transition.

*The Cooking Lady starts kicking and screaming as the Cheese Ball is taken away from here* "I'm not finished with it yet."

Tara...I love you, really I do. Me and Savanah just made the quesadillas and they were AWESOME!

These are a keeper and will be stocking up on tortillas for sure!
